The Muralist and the Modern Architect at the Kootz Gallery presents collaborations between the gallery artists and noted architects, including Marcel Breuer, Philip Johnson and Frederick Kiesler. Motherwell works with the Architects’ Collaborative, a firm led by Walter Gropius. He exhibits a maquette for a sixty-foot long mural he has conceived for a junior high school in Attleboro, Massachusetts and Mural Fragment (P102).
