Motherwell’s Black and White with Yellow (P225) is included in Osaka Festival 1958: The International Art of a New Era, U.S.A, Japan, Europe at the Takashimaya Department Store, Osaka. The exhibition is the first to show the artists of the Japanese Gutai group, European Art Informel, and American Abstract Expressionism side by side.
