
Dedalus Foundation Fund for Past Fellows and Awardees
The Dedalus Foundation Fund for Past Fellows and Awardees is intended to lend targeted, ongoing support to our outstanding past awardees, who continue to pursue ambitious artistic or art historical projects within their respective fields.
Eligible awardees include Dedalus Foundation Senior Fellows, MFA Fellows, Dissertation Fellows, High School Scholarship winners, and Robert Motherwell Book Award winners.
Proposals should be project-based with funding serving a specific purpose. The grant contemplates a number of purposes including, but not limited to: materials related to specific projects; education related expenses; framing and shipping of artworks; website development; travel and other expenses incidental to attending conferences and residencies, including childcare; and payment of assistants or consultants (i.e. studio or editorial help toward a specific project).
Grants will vary according to the needs of the specific project, with a maximum of $2,500. Recipients of this grant may reapply three years after receipt of the previous award. Requests will be considered on a rolling basis. Inquiries may be directed to programs@dedalusfoundation.org
Grant Restrictions
This grant cannot be used for: healthcare or emergency medical expenses, general living expenses, or major capital investments.
Deadlines
Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be reviewed in cycles. The deadlines for the initial cycles are as follows:

Grant recipients will be selected and announced 2 weeks after each cycle’s deadline.

Project Information
- Title or Nature of Proposed Project
- Project Statement / Statement of Need: Provide a brief statement describing your proposed project. You may include images in the PDF to help illustrate your plans. The PDF cannot exceed 3 pages, double-spaced.
- Project Budget(150 word limit): The size of the grant will be determined by the needs of the project and will range up to $2,500. Please create a simple budget with your requested amount and describe how you will use the funds.
**A brief report will be due within one year of receiving the award.
