Wednesday, February 24, 2016 - 00

This discussion of the conservation of One: Number 31, 1950, and other major works by Jackson Pollock by the Conservation Department of The Museum of Modern Art will provide unique insights into both the works themselves and the broader implications of how the physical condition of works of art affects our appreciation and understanding of them.

The outstanding panel is comprised of:

James Coddington, Agnes Gund Chief Conservator at The Museum of Modern Art

Jennifer Hickey, former Dedalus Fellow in the Conservation of Modern and
Contemporary Art at the Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. Associate Conservator, Modern Art Conservation
